Jo Barnes - Author

Jo has been writing children's books for many years. Jo has eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren with whom she shares her stories. They are the best editors for the story content. She created the beloved character of Bart Bigfoot while working as a librarian years ago.

Jo was born and raised in and around Tacoma, Washington. After living in Arizona for several years, the Northwest called her back and she settled in Oregon. This has been her home now for over thirty years.
