It wasn't until the white man settled the country that Bigfoot came to their attention. Trappers and loggers living and working in the remote areas began to see signs of their existence. Many a story was told around the campfires of the loud noises and wild calls that were heard in the distance.

Plaster casts were taken of these large animals' footprints, but there were no actual sightings. Still the search goes on today to find this creature.

This is how the Bigfoot family came to live among man. As he was being pursued, he was driven out of the forests to a large valley. The first two to emerge were brothers, Bob and Bill. They saw man raising vegetables, cattle, sheep, and hay. And they knew they could do the same things.

Each brother settled on some deserted land, and before long the neighbors began to help them. Together they built a house, a barn, and put up'fences. Then they showed them how to grow hay and tend livestock. Some of the farmers even gave them old farm equipment to use. Others gave them some chickens or sheep.

Life was good for the new arrivals but they missed their families. So Bob went back to the forest to have his wife and children join him in the valley. Only Bart was willing to leave his home to be with his dad. So his mom and sister remained in their old homeland. Bill was able to bring all of his family to live in the valley.

Bob and Bart did quite well at farming their land. They raised vegetables and fruit to sell. They had chickens that laid eggs for them to sell. And they even raised some beef and lamb to be sold.

But as dad got older he wanted toJind a nice place to retire. So he gave the Iarm to Bart and went north to another valley. Bart was very capable of running the farm on his own, but there were times thathe became very lonely. So whenever he could, he would befriend some of the wild animals that came to his place. He had the whole raccoon family as friends, chickens, a green snake and now the Red Fox.
